A bright and happy morning

One of our friends invited us over for a rainbow morning at her house.  She's quite the most organised and energetic person, and she'd put a lot of time and thought into it.
She put out lots of bright colourful toys - dominos, bricks, puzzles, a wooden rainbow (we took ours along).  Freddie especially liked this very cool domino truck.  You drop the dominos in the top, and as it drives along it sets the dominos up to be knocked down.

There was a platter of rainbow-coloured fruit to eat.

The kids made I-Spy bottles, with rice dyed using food colouring.  They could put marbles, plastic counters, big bits of shiny confetti and feathers in, covered in the rice.  Then you shake the bottle and look for the treasures.
It was excellent, and the kids were very happy with their bottles.
We had lunch there, before heading to the home ed co-op.  It was quiet today with half the families unable to come.  It did mean I got to sit and chat to the other mums, and the kids played.  A lovely day!
