Bang!

We went to a fireworks display this evening.  It's the first time all of us have been to one - until now one of the kids has been too little, or decided not to go.  Betsy changed her mind about it a few times over the day, but said she'd like to go too.  
Armed with ear defenders, hats and gloves we set off.  The three of them had enough of the display pretty quickly, so we left early.  But for a few minutes all of were there together, watching the beautiful colours in the sky.  It made me happy!
