Silverbells shawl

I've been knitting a silverbells shawl for the last couple of weeks.  I used Araucania Ulno Multy, which is a cotton DK yarn in shades of blue.  It knitted up a little small for me, as I don't like tight scarves or shawls round my neck.  I sewed on a button to fasten it instead, and I'm very pleased with it.

I'm so happy - Ishbel is finished! I completed the knitting on Friday night, wore it unblocked all weekend (impatient), and blocked it yesterday. Here it is:




I want to knit another one now....

I'll be posting it off to its new home tomorrow, and am very happy with how it has turned out.
