I worked today, my first Sunday shift. It was quite early, and I didn't see any people on my short walk to work, but heard plenty of birds.
One of the perks of working for a supermarket is buying stock unsuitable for the shop floor. So today I bought some beautiful 'out of date' flowers for 10p!
When I got home, I cut some stems from a shrub in the back garden. Nice bouquet almost for free.
The mantlepiece looks festive with Fred's cards.
