It's been shawls shawls shawls again this week.
Ishbel is nearly finished - 7 rows to go! Though now each row takes an ages, as it gets longer and longer. I realllllllly hope I have enough untangled yarn left. I really don't want to tackle the jumbled up bit of the skein. This, plus Freddie's birthday tomorrow (and celebrations at the weekend) may mean it's still a WIP next Wednesday, but I hope it will be finished by then.....
Trillian has had some attention from me too, and has grown since last week. The yarn is Filigran Lace No 1. I wish it had slightly more blue tones/less red tones, but I'm being picky!

The sheen on your Ishbel is beautiful - fingers crossed that you don't have to do any untangling!
ReplyDeleteYep, saying again that your yarn choice on the Ishbel is very cool :)
ReplyDeleteYour shawls are lovely. I really hope you have enough yarn for Ishbel. Untangling is no fun.
ReplyDeleteThe sheen is fantastic - I'm off to see what else babylonglegs has to offer xx
ReplyDeleteGot my fingers crossed for you on having enough yarn. I really hate it when you get a bad skein that's tangled. Frustrating, takes time to unravel etc. Good Luck, it's really quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE your Ishbel! It's beautiful with that awesome shine to it! I actually like the redness of your Trillian!
ReplyDeleteI loved knitting Ishbel! Its a great pattern. The yarn you chose is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooking GREAT! Fingers crossed for the yarn (do you find yourself knitting faster to get it done before the yarn runs out? Or is that just me?? )
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the birthday celebrations x
