Party!

We had some exciting weather this morning.  It had been raining on and off, and then it started pelting down with hail.  The kids opened the front door and we stood watching it for a while, before retreating to the sofa and the fire.  A few minutes later, I noticed it was snowing!  It didn't last long.  I'm not ready for snow yet.  Looks like autumn is drawing to a close already.

We popped out to Hobbycraft and B&M.  I forget about B&M.  It' soooo cheap!  I got some little prizes for Betsy's cuddly dinosaur birthday party we're having this afternoon.

After lunch we made fairy cakes, and got ready for the party.  Pass the parcel, musical statues, what's the time mr wolf.  Party poppers, streamers.  Cake and candle.

Betsy's prize was a pack of tattoo glitter pens and stencil stickers.  For 99p they're surprisingly effective!

Freddie won what's the time mr wolf, and got a glow in the dark sword.  Meg won some glow stick in pass the parcel.

It was some fun on a cold and gloomy afternoon!
